Question 1

What is DuoPortrait?

Accepted Answer

DuoPortrait is an AI dual-person portrait generator that composites two people into one believable shared photo — ideal for long-distance couples, memorial reunions, and fandom moments across multiple cultural wedding and editorial styles. It is not a collage and not a cartoon.

Question 2

How does DuoPortrait keep both faces looking like the real people?

Accepted Answer

DuoPortrait extracts face embeddings from each uploaded photo and feeds them through an identity-preserving model (InstantID / PuLID-style). Your features stay yours — bone structure, smile, expression — only the setting changes.

Question 3

What photos do I need to upload?

Accepted Answer

One clear, well-lit photo of each person. Separate selfies are fine — the two people never need to have been photographed together.

Question 4

Can I make a memorial portrait of someone who has passed away?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Memorial reunion portraits are a core, intentionally handled use case. Upload a photo of each person and DuoPortrait composites a shared portrait in your chosen style.

Question 5

Are the photos real?

Accepted Answer

No. Every DuoPortrait image is an AI-generated composite — a photograph that was never actually taken. Outputs carry a "Made with DuoPortrait" provenance mark.

Question 6

What happens to my uploaded photos?

Accepted Answer

Source photos and generated images are deleted on a rolling 7-day window — no backups, no archives. Your face is never used to train any AI model.

Question 7

How much does DuoPortrait cost?

Accepted Answer

Your first photo is free. After that, credit packs start at $4.99 for 50 credits, $9.99 for 300 credits, and $19.99 for 1000 credits. Credits never expire and there is no subscription.
